There are two schools in the village, Barnham Primary School is well-regarded and its most recent Ofsted report classified it as Good. The St Philip Howard Secondary School was classified as Outstanding following its most recent Ofsted inspection. There is also a private school at Eartham, Great Ballard, offering education from Nursery to 16.

One of the great advantages of Barnham is its mainline railway station on the West Coastway Line with regular, direct trains to London Victoria (1hr 28 mins), Brighton (45 minutes) and Southampton (1 hr). The village is on a bus route with regular buses running from opposite the railway station to Chichester and Bognor Regis bus stations located conveniently close to the A27 (M27) towards Southampton in the west and Brighton to the east.

Barnham

Barnham is a semi-rural village and civil parish in the Arun district of West Sussex, England, centred about five miles north of Bognor Regis.

The village is approximately eight miles from the centre of Chichester with its wide range of shops, restaurants and other facilities and two major supermarkets. Arundel is approximately seven miles away, a very popular destination for locals and visitors with the Castle, Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre and numerous antique shops.

The coastal town of Bognor Regis and a range of out-of-town supermarkets and other well-known stores are within easy reach.
