This year Seaward is pleased to be supporting two Christmas community projects in Southbourne and Emsworth, home to our current development at Priors Orchard.
The Southbourne Lions Christmas Carol Float will be visiting houses in villages around the area during December. The money collected goes towards people in the local community who need assistance, particularly at Christmas. Funds will also be used to buy defibrillators for public places. We’ve tried to persuade some of our colleagues to volunteer as Father Christmas but there have been no takers so far!
The Emsworth Community Christmas is a free Christmas Day celebration that has been held in the town for the last four years. It was born out of the recognition that Christmas Day can be a lonely day for many and a belief that no-one should be alone on that day. The event involves the local community coming together on Christmas Day to offer companionship, laughter, festive food and entertainment.
